Yankees Scratch out a Win

On a night where the Yankees got essentially no hits with runners in scoring position, they scratch out a victory in the 12th inning. The inning began with a Cano hit that bounced off of Mark Reynolds' glove and ended up a double. Granderson was intentionally walked by Pedro Strop to face Ibanez. Well Raul made him pay on a hanging curveball that ended u a double, scoring Cano. Rivera entered the ninth and pitched a perfect inning for his first save of the 2012 season.

The Yankees hitting with runners on remains terrible. It causes concern for the fans and the manager. Ultimately, it is up to the hitters to come up with the one big hit, as Raul Ibanez did tonight in extra frames.

In tomorrow night's game, C.C. Sabathia faces off against Jake Arietta in hopes of a three game sweep of the O's.
