Game one loss

In a game that was practically a must win for the Yankees, they drop the ball and blow it, again. Before the series began, I thought the Yankees would be able to start a winning streak and answer the call when it was most needed. However, I was wrong again. In a game against the second place opponents in the division, the Yankees get embarrassed. They almost get shut out by Miguel Gonzalez and the Orioles bullpen. They weren't facing Roger Clemens in his prime. Nick Swisher especially, made the Yankees look terrible by striking out four times and with men in scoring position to make it worse.

Kuroda gave the Yankees a representative start, but again the Yankee offense was unable to score him any runs which is the story of the Yankees season. They will try to win a game tomorrow night against Chen. With their sluggish offense of late, it should be an interesting night.
