In injury news, Brett Gardner swung a fungo bat today in his attempt to come back from a sore elbow.
Also, Joba Chamberlain threw a bullpen today and came out of it feeling great. He is ready to begin a rehab assignment and should re-join the Yankees within the next couple of weeks.
CC Sabathia threw off of flat ground today and ran for the first time since his injury.
